Who We Are

AMC Publishers — Physi-Tual Genre Capital Global Group Ltd. — is an independent Canadian publishing house. Founded in 2021, we specialize in books and art that explore the intersection of physical reality and spiritual experience. Our mission is to give voice to works that refuse to separate the material from the mystical.

We created the Physi-Tual genre — a trademarked literary category — because existing labels failed to capture the territory we are most passionate about. “Self-help” is too prescriptive. “New Age” is too vague. “Philosophy” is too academic. The Physi-Tual genre honours the full complexity of human experience at the border between the seen and the unseen.

What We Publish

Our Expertise

AMC Publishers was founded in 2021 around a single idea: the Physi-Tual genre — books and art that sit where the physical and spiritual worlds meet. That focus is the expertise. Founder Austin M. Collings writes in the genre himself; both Insights to the Spiritual World (ISBN 978-1-7776719-1-4) and The Spiritual Capture: The Worlds Combine (ISBN 978-1-7776719-4-5) are in print, alongside an original Physi-Tual art catalogue.

We publish other authors in the same vein — Julie Barkly’s In the Midst of Life’s Future is forthcoming under the imprint. Every title is produced in-house and distributed through the same print-on-demand and retail channels we use for our own books, so authors work with a publisher that has actually shipped titles in this genre rather than a generalist taking on an unfamiliar subject.
