The package is built around the way real books get into readers' hands: editorial work that strengthens the manuscript, design work that signals genre and quality, distribution wide enough that the book is actually findable, and marketing groundwork that gives the launch a foundation. What if I don't have a finished manuscript yet?
We can begin the conversation early, but contracts are signed once the manuscript is complete. For drafts in progress we can recommend developmental editors to work with first.
Do I keep all rights and royalties?
Yes. AMC Publishers operates on a service-publisher model. You retain full copyright. Royalty splits are defined by the contract and favour the author.
Will my book actually be in stores?
Distribution makes the book orderable by any of the 45,000+ retail accounts, including independent bookstores. Whether a specific store stocks it physically is up to that store's buyer.
