About this work
Inficycle is the only mixed-media piece in the founding Physi-Tual catalogue. The full title — "Inficycle: The Physi-Tual Mask of the Meshed Planetary Spiritual" — is the longest in the series and signals what the piece is about.
The composition shows a moon figure fishing in space, pulling something up from below the surface of an ocean made of stars. Planets orbit at unexpected scales. The sky is the sea is the sky.
The work argues, visually, that the spiritual is not separate from the physical universe but woven into its largest features. Available as canvas prints, tapestries, and duvet covers — the tapestry format reads especially well at scale.
