About this work
L.I.P. — Live in Peace is the most densely detailed piece in the Physi-Tual catalogue. A woman sits inside an interior scene where every surface — walls, fabrics, floor, objects — is rendered in elaborate pattern. Nothing is plain.
The title turns the funeral phrase "R.I.P." toward the living. The work asks what it would mean to inhabit a life with the same care, presence, and ornament usually reserved for the dead.
Pen and ink on paper, available as canvas prints, framed prints, and throw pillows. Best appreciated at larger sizes where the pattern density is fully readable.
